Brad Pendergraft, aka “Brain Coach Brad,†is the developer of the brain-research based “FIRE!†process to break habits of worry, stress, and anxiety. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years experience with trauma and crisis services. Brad has dedicated his life to helping others function at the highest level, studying cutting-edge research-based strategies to help people experience powerful results-faster and easier. In his decades of experience, Brad has found the best strategies are based in brain science.
Brad was invited back to New York after 9/11 to work with NYPD officers who were struggling with post-traumatic stress. He is a co-founder of a national behavioral health company specializing in trauma and crisis response which responded to close to 500,000 callers in crisis in 2014 alone.
He has worked closely with the Portland Police Bureau and other law enforcement agencies, providing services after deadly force incidents. Brad has trained and supervised hundreds of mental health professionals providing clinical services to clients with depression, suicidal and homicidal thoughts, anxiety, sleep disorders, substance abuse, gambling addiction, PTSD, and other situations.
